Explain why Edvard Munch's The Scream is considered an expressionistic artwork.

Expressionists try to convey their work by creating physical embodiments to display certain emotions.
While looking at “The Scream” you can imagine how Munch depicted a battle of inner turmoil and an outlash against the frustrating struggles of life by looking at the characteristics of the painting and which colours he chose.
