i think because deep down dally is a good person i think. But i read the book the greasers i loved it you should watch the movie

Johnny compares Dally in the form of courageousness and gallantry (when he took blame for breaking the windows)  but Ponyboy  thinks Soda is more like southern gentlemen because of his manners
