we have the formula with the delta
for
[tex]a {x}^{2} + bx + c = 0[/tex]
the delta is
[tex] {b}^{2} - 4ac = {29}^{2} - 4.1.100 \\ = 441 = {21}^{2} [/tex]

[tex]x = ( - 29 + 21) \div 2 = - 4 \\ x = ( - 29 - 21 \div 2 = - 25[/tex]
