Look at the graphs of y = 4x2 + 7x − 11 and y = 3x + 4. At which points are the two equations equal?

this is basically asking for the point where both equations intersect. If you have a graphing calculator, you can graph, then hit 2nd, CALC, Intersect, then hit enter twice when it asks for first and second curve, and then the x value is the answer. This is for a TI-84 Plus, so if you want me to explain how to do this by hand, then just let me know.
