The slope is -4/7

Step-by-step explanation: The equation for slope is (y₂-y₁)/(x₂-x₁)

so in this case it would be (₋3-1)/(4+3)

Finding the slope using two points:

The formula for slope is

[tex]\frac{y_{2}-y_{1}}{x_{2}-x_{1}}[/tex]

In this case...

[tex]y_{2} =-3\\y_{1} =1\\x_{2} =4\\x_{1} =-3[/tex]

^^^Plug these numbers into the formula for slope...

[tex]\frac{-3-1}{4 - (-3)}[/tex]

[tex]\frac{-4}{7}[/tex]

^^^This is your slope

Hope this helped!
