We are given dimensions of the rectangle:

Length= 4.2 units  and width = 6.7 units .

Given formula of perimeter = 2L + 2W.

Plugging value of Length= 4.2 and width = 6.7 in above formula, we get

Perimeter = 2(4.2) + 2(6.7)

Multiplying 2 * 4.2 we get 8.4 and multiplying 2* 6.7 we get 13.4.

                = 8.4 + 13.4.

                = 21.8 units

Therefore, perimeter of the rectangle is 21.8 units .
