A person can calculate his monthly payment for a loan by knowing the following:

his total loan balance

the total number of payments to be made

the total amount of time to make the payment

the total interest amount

When he has all these factors, he can take the amount of payments that must be made in total and divide it by the loan balance. This will give him the amount that will be paid monthly on the loan.
